God chose you to be on his kickball team. And it has nothing to do with your performance! (Whew!)

1 Peter 1:3-12 lists 11 reasons to praise God, including:
Mercy - unearned, undeserved kindness.
Hope - not based on a wish, but rather on a certain fact that something is coming.
Inheritance - a pure and good “happily ever after” ending to our story.
Resurrection - Because Jesus lives so does our hope!
God guards us - it isn’t up to our strength or our ability to hold on to all of these; they are guarded for us by the power of God.
Salvation - deliverance is coming!
