Yet it is one of the most consistent ways that God uses to challenge and equip couples in the way that we follow Jesus. We take marriage(s) seriously. We invest in training leaders called marriage mentors. These mentor couples are the heart and soul of our marriage ministry. BEFORE MARRIAGE
Pre-Marital Class
Twice a year, our marriage ministry offers a class for seriously dating or engaged coupl
es called Breaking Ground. This seven-week class will create an opportunity for each couple to be exposed to relevant, biblical teaching, and be a part of a small group lead by a seasoned and trained mentor couple. In tandem with your class experience, you will have homework each week designed to get you talking to each other about core areas of your faith and your relationship. This experience is designed to assist any seriously dating couple to determine their readiness for marriage and help those who have already committed to engagement to prepare for marriage. Our mentor couples genuinely help lead each session. Pre-marital Mentoring
At the end of each class, you will be invited into what we call Couple2Couple. This is an opportunity to spend four to eight meetings with a mentor couple and to invest in a marriage preparation tool called Prepare/Enrich. Your time with your mentor couple is designed to create a safe environment for you to review your experience in the Breaking Ground class and to talk through your assessment to make your preparation process as thorough as possible. AFTER MARRIAGE
Newlywed Groups
Once you're married, we invite you to join a Foundation Group. These groups meet three times a month and are created for newly married couples. They are intended to do exactly what their name implies—help newly married couples establish their foundation in Christ and in the covenant commitment they have made to one another.
