GOD’S WORD FOR YOUR WEEK, MARCH 26 - APRIL 01, 2023

TOPIC: DEFEATING YOUR ENEMY WITHOUT USING A SWORD!

SCRIPTURES: 1 SAMUEL 17:49-50 AMP
50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck down the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand.”

QUESTIONS TO PONDER:
—What are the forces threatening to eliminate you?
—What must you do to triumph over your enemies?

SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:
—There are seen and unseen forces that contend with us regularly as mortals (Read Ephesians 6:12-13 & Psalm 27:1-3).
—We must stand on our faith and trust in God’s power for complete victory (Read I Samuel 17:37).
—David had the conviction that God will enable him defeat Goliath and it happened! Today, be rest assured that YOU ARE VICTORIOUS over all your foes.
—Surrender your life into the hands of the King of kings and Lord of lords. He will fight all your battles for you.
—Confess God’s Word that says, “You are more than a conqueror…” (Read Romans 8:37). Back it up with fervent prayers.
—Be BOLD like David, and confront the giant who is threatening to eliminate you. Don’t be afraid (Read James 4:7).
—Plead the blood of Jesus upon your life, your ways, your utterances and everything that is yours (Read Revelation 12:11).
—Use “praise” and other simple and spiritual weapons you may have to triumph over your enemies. Be watchful!
Victory is certain (Victoria acerta)!

PRAYERS: Pray like this:
-Lord, defeat and destroy every enemy of my soul in Jesus’ name (IJN).
-I decree that all my foes will stumble and fall without recovery in the name of Jesus.
-Father, rescue me quickly from the hands of the strongman terrorizing my life IJN.
-Lord, send destruction into the camp of those plotting evil against me in Jesus’ name.
-I pray for complete victory everyday and everywhere I go in the name of Jesus.

““To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”

KEY LESSONS:
-Remember that you are serving a HOLY & TRUE GOD, therefore, you must pursue holiness and say the truth all the time.
-Jesus has your key of success in His hand, accept Him, follow Him and put your hand in His hand for total success.
-Surrender everything regarding your life to Jesus today.
-Jesus is opening every shut door in your life today. Draw nearer to Him. Spend quality time with God in prayer.
-Pray for open door in every area of your life today.
-Decree every door of struggle, affliction, ill-health failure and frustration to close permanently for you in Jesus' name.
-I pray for you to receive the key to your destiny today in Jesus' name.
