Some of the warfare in your life was never just about you.

It’s about the bloodline attached to you.

You’re fighting battles your mother never healed from.

You’re breaking cycles your father normalized.

You’re confronting patterns that were passed down like inheritance.

You’re praying through things generations stayed silent about.

That’s why it feels heavy.

That’s why it feels exhausting.

That’s why the resistance has been so intense.

Because when one person decides, “It ends with me,” everything attached to that dysfunction starts shaking.

You are not crazy for feeling the weight.

You are carrying what others ignored so your children won’t have to.

You are the interruption.

You are the shift.

You are the chain breaker.

The enemy wanted your family line.

But God raised you up 🤍

A Gentle King Who Makes Peace

Centuries before Jesus, the prophet Zechariah had spoken to a defeated, downtrodden Israel, promising a king who would come not in power or might but humbly, on a donkey. That king would establish peace, not by force, but by the Spirit.

When the crowds welcomed Jesus during his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, convinced He was this king, they hoped He would overthrow Rome and restore Israel's independence. But Jesus didn’t meet their expectations. Instead of raising a sword, He surrendered peacefully. He endured mockery, injustice, and the cross with humility and love.

Jesus wasn’t just any king; He was the King who makes peace—peace between God and humanity and, through Him, peace among people. His kingdom isn't about power plays or revenge but about reconciliation and grace.

Jesus' gentle reign challenges us to love even our enemies, just as he loved us.

Philippians 2:14-16
SHARE THIS
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

“Azusa Street Holy Ghost Meetings” by Frank Bartleman.
_
“Brother Seymour generally sat behind two empty shoe boxes, one on top of the other. He usually kept his head inside the top one during the meeting, in prayer. There was no pride there. The services ran almost continuously.

Seeking souls could be found under the power almost any hour, night and day. The place was never closed nor empty. The people came to meet God. He was always there. Hence a continuous meeting. The meeting did not depend on the human leader. God’s presence became more and more wonderful.

In that old building, with its low rafters and bare floors, God took strong men and women to pieces, and put them together again, for His glory. It was a tremendous overhauling process: Pride and self-assertion, self importance and self-esteem, could not survive there. The religious ego preached its own funeral sermon quickly.

No subjects or sermons were announced ahead of time, and no special speakers for such an hour. No one knew what might be coming, what God would do. All was spontaneous, ordered of the Spirit. We wanted to hear from God, through whoever He might speak. We had no “respect of persons.” The rich and educated were the same as the poor and ignorant, and found a much harder death to die. We only recognized God: All were equal. No flesh might glory in His presence.

He could not use the self-opinionated. Those were Holy Ghost meetings, led of the Lord. It had to start in poor surroundings, to keep out the selfish, human element. All came down in humility together, at His feet.

They all looked alike, and had all things in common in that sense at least.”
