To all seniors who have graduated and are now Freshman in college... these next two weeks are going to be different. For all of you that chose to dorm, you'll be leaving your families and now departing into your own journey of life, the taste of this earth. But I urge you, as young Christians do not be conformed to this world, rather do not take on the identity this world wants to give you, rather be the light of this world and conquer college knowing your identity is of being a child of the most high God. It's going to be different, but I want to bring back such a familiar verse that speaks such power, Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
When you feel down, pray.... when you feel discouraged, pray, when things become so overwhelming and you wonder to yourself, how am I going to get out of this stress, just pray. God has great things in store for you, and he wouldn't bring you this far for you to fail, keep your head high and don't look at the past. Trust God with your future and the present will come right into play with his plans. Have a safe, wonderful, and educational time at college to all graduated seniors. And don't forget, the Christians United team will be praying for you! We've got your back!
Sincerely...
