Colmar Manor Bible Church

Colmar Manor Bible Church So you're looking for that church and trying to figure out which one God wants to place you in. God has answered your prayer by letting you find us here...

Nestled in the heart of a community lies a small church which is focused on reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training those who have been found for God’s glory. CMBC is not focused on politics or class, but is modeled off the early church with the major emphasis being on Scripture. Starting back in 1936 the church has reached out and impacted many lives through the accurate pr

eaching of the scripture and discipleship. In the age of mega churches and celebrity pastors it is refreshing to find a church with biblical roots which is reflected in the preaching, discipleship, worship, and ministry. The Pastors at CMBC desire the congregation to become like the One who came to save them. Simply put, the goal of Colmar Manor Bible Church is; “Finding the Lost, Training the Found, For God’s Glory.”

We hope you will use this page as a valuable tool to see what the community at Colmar Manor Bible Church is currently doing. We also hope that you will come and join us on this journey as we find our individual callings in life as we worship the One who has given us life and has saved us.

At the Feast of Tabernacles, the religious leaders want Jesus killed as the Pharisees try to arrest Him — yet right in the middle of their hostility, He stands up and boldly declares that He is the fulfillment of the entire feast. While priests are pouring out water and the crowds celebrate, Jesus shouts, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!” He claims to be the living water, the true light, and the real shelter everyone has been waiting for. As He teaches, the crowd explodes into division: some believe He’s the Messiah, others want Him dead.

This episode brings the tension to life and forces the same question on us today: Will you come to Jesus and submit to His words, or will you reject Him? There’s no neutral ground. Raw, powerful, and practical — a great episode for the whole family.

Colmar Manor Bible Church is the oldest church in our town — a faithful landmark since 1936. For 90 years, this church has stood strong on Newton Street, never wavering in its commitment to preach the Bible without compromise. While the world and politics has changed and many have compromised, we have not.

This is more than just a building. It’s a spiritual safe haven where generations of Colmar Manor families learned the truth, found real hope, and grew together as a church family.

It’s time to come home.

If you grew up in Colmar Manor, if you remember the old cornerstone, or if you’re simply looking for a church that still stands unashamedly on the Word of God — you are warmly invited. If you want to learn the Word of God and worship though hymns and songs of praise. Please come. If you long for a family who will care about you though good and bad times. Come and see. Before Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, He told a parable about a King who left His servants in charge—then came back to settle accounts. In this challenging message, Pastor Kenny Burge Jr. asks the hard question every believer must face: Will you hear “Well done”… or stand before the King empty-handed?

Before Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, He told a powerful parable about a King who left His servants in charge—then came back to settle accounts. I...
