Nothing More Accurate Than “churches of Christ”
It is true that the New Testament contains other designations for local churches than “churches of Christ.” However, it is worth noting that these designations for local churches are found in correspondence to and conversations with Christians. In identifying a local congregation and distinguishing it from the churches of men in the religious world, there is no term more concisely accurate and expedient than “churches of Christ.”
