Holy God, we give you thanks for your presence in our world and for the ways in which your Spirit intercedes for us, heeding the pleas of your people. Send you Spirit upon us, and journey with us. AMEN

In those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leapt in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”

Prayer of the Day
Mighty God, by whose grace Elizabeth rejoiced with Mary and greeted he as the mother of the Lord; look with favor on your lowly servants that, with Mary, we may magnify your holy name and rejoice to acclaim her Son as our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, on God, now and forever. AMEN

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Prayer of the Day
God of heaven and earth, before the foundation of the universe and the beginning of time you are the triune God: Author of creation, eternal Word of salvation, life-giving Spirit of wisdom. Guide us to all truth by your Spirit, that we may proclaim all that Christ has revealed and rejoice in the glory he shares with us. Glory and praise to you, Father, Son, and Holy spirit, now and forever. AMEN

Guard the good treasure entrusted to you, with the help of the Holy Spirit living in us.

Prayer of the Day
Jesus, our great treasure, your faith and love are gifts beyond measure. As you entrust your teaching to fools and squander your grace unreservedly, may we love without shame and freely trust in your life, death, and resurrection. AMEN

And a young man ran and told Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.” And Joshua son of Nun, the assistant of Moses, one of his chosen men, said, “My lord Moses, stop them!” But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit on them!” And Moses and the elders of Israel returned to the camp.

Prayer of the Day
God, you speak through unexpected people and reveal yourself in places we dare not go. Expose our jealousy wherever your mercy crosses our petty borders, so that your prophets might again lead us to lands where your compassion flows. AMEN

Prayer of the Day
Interceding Spirit, you search all hearts and you know all minds. Ease the groans of anguish too deep for words, and strengthen our weakened hearts, so that your healing hope springs from the depths of our being. AMEN
