Please join me in praying for our Day School teachers as they spend these days in training, preparing lessons, organizing classrooms, and getting ready to welcome a new group of students. So much happens before the first child walks through the doors and we want to surround our teachers with prayer as they prepare for the year ahead.

Join me Monday, August 31 at 6:00 PM for a prayer walk through our Day School. Together, we’ll pray over each classroom, our teachers and staff, our students and families, and the year God is about to unfold.

Let’s begin this school year with Christ at the center.

Tonight, Brazos Supak met me at Christ Lutheran Church as he prepares a sermon to preach this Sunday at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church. Brazos is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and an active part of Next Generation. Please hold him in prayer!

We give thanks for young people who are willing to step forward and proclaim the Word of God. What a gift it is to witness the Church working together and making room for young voices to lead, preach, and serve. It’s also a beautiful example of collaborative ministry, different churches, one community, one God, and a shared desire to lift up young people as they proclaim the Gospel.
