What do your kids want to be when they grow up? Have you known since before they were born? John’s parents did! God gave him a very important job even before he was born… to prepare the way for the Lord!

Today we learned all about what that meant… be sure to dig deeper in discussion with your kids this week!

Parents, does it make you feel a little better about your own parenting to know that Mary and Joseph accidentally left Jesus behind?!? Well that’s what your kids learned about today… and spoiler alert: it wasn’t an accident at all! Jesus wasn’t being disobedient, He was “doing the Father’s will”!

This week we learned about Jesus’ special visitors! Wise men brought Jesus meaningful gifts because they understood who He was and that He deserved all of their worship! We can also give gifts to honor Jesus… we do this with our time, talent, and treasure!

Christmas in April? Why not?! Last week we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus but now it’s time to rewind and take it all the way back to His birth. This week our Center Kids began the journey through the New Testament with the story of Jesus’ miraculous entry into our world.
