Installed an organ today donated by the family of Carl W. Matteck, Jr. of Lake Jackson, TX. Kade, Brady and Nate Rau helped with the unloading and set up. They did a little rearranging of the organ area too. Always a blast having them around. The sanctuary is so calming in natural light.

Join us this Sunday, May 31, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville for our Good Neighbor Sunday. Worship begins at 10:30am followed by a BBQ meal and all the trimmings plus desserts. Robert Herridge, renown fiddler, will provide special music.

The 2026 Synod Assembly of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod was held on May 15-16 in Sugar Land, TX. Rodney Maurer, Congregation Chairman, attended and participated in this event. The theme of the assembly was "How Can We Keep from Singing?' Rodney had the opportunity to join many other Lutherans from Washington, Fayette and other surrounding counties, as well as, all Synod attendees. Stephanie Crabtree Wehring, who is in studies to become a Deacon, participated in the opening service and is pictured with Rodney.
