Dave Mathis and Janell represented Brenham Presbyterian Church at the Buc Connect event for Blinn Students at the Blinn Student Center on Tuesday. Missy Abston and Janet Crane were present to represent the PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Le****ns and G**s) group that meets at our church. A lot of students met the Presbyterians on Tuesday!

We are grateful the Boy Scouts came Sunday evening to help prepare our Galilee Garden for fall planting!
Phoebe and Rob Lake supervised, Milton Ressman and Dave Mathis fed the boys, and Missy Abston and Janet Crane were there as support staff. Thank you all!

On last Sunday August 9, 2026 our wonderful Choir Director Jazzlyn Espinoza sang in a trio with her friends. They arranged these 3 pieces into an anthem for us. Since our live streaming capabilities are still awaiting repair, we took some brief video clips during their rehearsal so we can share these lovely voices.
"Sing to the Lord with grateful praise!" (Psalm 147:7)

Jeopardy came to Brenham Presbyterian Church on August 5th! Our own "Alexa Trebecka" mc'd the questions while our expert judges (Jayme Ponder, Rosellyn McIver and Phoebe Lake, with guest Supreme Judge Jim Ellison) kept us laughing and mostly honest. Here you see the awarding of prizes to our excellent teams.

Members of Brenham Presbyterian joined an ecumenical effort to get food out to families of Brenham children who usually rely on the school feeding programs. There's a 3 week break each summer when the schools don't provide meals, so we stepped up to help. Here are volunteers are giving out bags at the Boys and Girls Club.
