So many people are carrying stress, worry, fear, and anxiety that God never intended them to carry. His desire is for us to trust Him, rest in His promises, and walk in His peace.

✨ Meet Our Pastor ✨

Since 1986, Pastor Danny Greene has faithfully served Church Street with a heart for God and a love for people.

His story is one of God’s amazing grace. Once living a life marked by drugs and alcohol, Pastor Danny experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that forever transformed his life. Today, his testimony continues to point others to the hope, redemption, and freedom found in Christ.

For nearly four decades, he has faithfully preached God’s Word, loved our community, and reminded countless people of a simple truth:

“If He can save me, He can save you.”

We are thankful for Pastor Danny, his leadership, and his unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel. đź’™

Church wasn’t the same today.

We cried, laughed, rejoiced, and were reminded what life is really about. Nothing is promised outside of God’s grace, so hold your family and friends close. Love people deeply. Forgive quickly. Be like Jesus and let your light shine everywhere you go.

Sometimes the plan we had isn’t the plan we received… but God’s plan is always greater than our understanding. Even in heartbreak, we still have hope.

And no matter what this life throws our way, I’ve read the back of the Book… and we win.

We will be having a meal for the family of Barbara Oglesby on Tuesday at the fellowship hall at Powers Chapel.

Please bring a dish to share. Drinks have been graciously donated by Powers. The doors to the fellowship hall will open at 10:00 a.m.
