We were first time guests this Sunday at REDEEMING GRACE CHURCH and are so happy and grateful to have been a part of this gathering.

The talk from the Pastor, Dr. Steele, on this particular Sunday, addressed one of our most prevalent needs, especially for those of us whose past mistakes hold us back from moving forward in our faith walk.

It was straight up, real talk.

The thesis was, and I'll speak informally, "Yep, you've messed up. Yep, you've gone through some things. Yep, you may have made serious mistakes that cost you and those you love dearly. Yep, you got off God's path for your life.

Welcome to the club. Now . . .

Our mistakes never changed the fact that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives. It's time to once again believe, to see ourselves as God sees us . . . . forgiven because of Christ. It's time to get back in the Kingdom game, get back on track, and get back to Kingdom business.

And for those of us who are on track, it is our responsibility not to be the "sin police" or to focus on other's past, but rather to reach out to those who have made mistakes and "restore them gently." (Galatians 6:1)"

My family is really excited REDEEMING GRACE intentionally "restores others gently."

If you're a person who loves God, but feel like church doesn't make sense, or that there's a lot of 'bait and switch' going on in church, or if you're just like me and so many others trying to move forward with their Kingdom purpose without looking backwards, I hope you'll be my, Bob, and Suzy's guest this Sunday at REDEEMING GRACE. I would like to publicly just give a huge thank you and shout out to God! I know I'm not the best example of a little Jesus, but that doesn't change who He is, nor His love and graciousness for me. Lately, even though I have been having to face some ultimate losses, God still gently lets me know He sees me and cares about me.

I know there are many of you who are too hurt and in too much pain to open your heart right now to Him. Some of us are too angry and bitter. I've been there too.

But friend, God sees you. He loves you. He cares about what you're going through. And while it may seem like there is only silence in the distance, maybe it's because you're listening for the wrong voice.

If you're still now, you'll hear HIm. You'll hear Him gently speaking to you, drawing you to Himself.

If you've read this far, you'll find Him now. He'll reach out to you and make you whole.

Ask God to take over your life completely and surrender yourself to Jesus. I promise He's there. He's waiting to answer.

It has been reported Pope Francis has now pronounced same-sex marriage as blessed by the Catholic "church."

It offers me nothing but sadness to say, after years of attempting to mitigate the charges against the Catholic church, I can no longer believe the Catholic, the Roman Catholic Church, is a Christian religion.

The Bible teaches us there is only one God and only one way to God, through Jesus (John 14:6). Pope Francis believes and has stated there are multiple ways to God. This is in direct contradiction to Scripture and is literal heresy (a word I have never used when describing another person).

I love my Catholic friends, but you no longer attend a Christian church, if it ever was in fact, Christian. I do not hold anything against you and I hope you will forgive me for the hurt this causes, but I would rather see your soul saved through Jesus alone and you be angry at me than to be without you for eternity.

I call on all my true believer Catholic friends to leave the Roman Catholic church and get intimately involved with a church that is "Sola Scripture," teaches only what the Bible teaches, without any other authority, including "church historical practices and doctrine."

Please don't just accept my word for it. Please check these statements out for yourself. If I can be a friend and be a sounding board for discussion, please don't hesitate to contact me.
