Because everyone is created for relationship with God, we seek to reflect the character, compassion, and love of God as revealed through Jesus. We are welcoming. Because everyone is valuable to God, we accept and embrace all people, respecting their differences and aspiring to care for the needs of the whole person. We are questioning. Just as Jesus questioned the religious conventions of his day,

we honor and grapple with the Bible in community and with God, exploring our faith through conversation and dialogue. We are directed. Because we are called to mirror Jesus’ life and teaching, we intentionally love the individuals and communities around us. We promote community and participation in our efforts to experience God. We do not have a pastor and believe that we are all called to minister to one another. Sunday worship is led by volunteers from the community who offer to lead for a Sunday or group of Sundays. Sunday worship formats can vary from traditional services to interviews, small groups, or other participatory activities. Anyone in the community is welcome to take part in meetings which lead to the planning and formation of different programs and events. Our efforts are guided around 3 primary ministries: the BCM community as a whole, Kairos (for young adults), and SCY (for students). Everything at BCM happens because we work together to make it happen.
