On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the GMZ Event Center – 6437 FM 521 – Brazoria, Texas, Dr. Larry Ladi (Pulmonologist) will present on lung health. Dr. Ladi will cover common respiratory symptoms such as shortness of breath, persistent coughing, wheezing, and explain when these signs require a specialist to evaluate. The Financial Awareness Workshop sponsored by Greater Mount Zion Church and GMZ Education and Development Center was well attended by individuals in the community in August 2026. GMZ Education and Development Center is an official Houston Food Bank Partner. We will serve our community on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The GMZ Food Shelf will give away hamburger meat. The Houston Food Bank truck will give away fruits and vegetables. The address is 6437 FM 521 - Brazoria, Texas 77422.
