The world is constantly trying to tell you what beautiful looks like. It says you need to look a certain way, dress a certain way, or have everyone’s approval.

But God sees you differently.

Psalm 139:14 NLT says
“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”

You are God’s workmanship. You weren’t created by accident. God formed you, knows you, loves you, and sees value in you that the world cannot take away.

1 Samuel 16:7 NLT reminds us that people look at the outward appearance, “but the LORD looks at the heart.”
My Young Lions may remember we touched on this during last Sunday's message.

Real beauty isn’t about having the perfect face, body, clothes, or popularity. Real beauty begins with a heart that belongs to Jesus.

So when you look in the mirror, remember: You are looking at someone God created on purpose, someone Jesus died for, and someone God calls His child.

1 John 3:1 NLT confirms this it says..
“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!”

Young people, one of the hardest habits I ever had to break was comparing myself to others.

I don’t know if you realize this or not, but most people only share the good stuff happening in their lives. You see the smiles, the victories, the vacations, and the highlights—but you don’t always see the struggles behind them.

Other people have problems too.

Comparison will steal your joy if you let it. Stop looking at what you think everyone else has and start thanking God for what He has given you.

Wake up every day praising the Lord for the good things in your life. Thank Him for another day, for the people who love you, and for every blessing big or small.

You don’t need somebody else’s life to be blessed.

“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 NLT

Don’t let comparison steal the joy God has given you.

What an AMAZING night!
Our Youth Praise & Worship Night was incredible! We had an awesome turnout of young people who came together to worship Jesus. There was so much praise, prayer, and fellowship, and you could truly feel the presence of God in the room.
I’m so thankful for every young person who showed up, every leader who helped, and everyone who prayed and supported this night.
God is moving in this generation, and I believe this is only the beginning!

The Young Lions Ark Encounter trip was a tremendous success!
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our brothers, sisters, friends, and supporters for your generous prayers, donations, and encouragement. Because of your kindness and support, our youth were able to experience an unforgettable day of learning, fellowship, and growing together in their faith.

We truly could not have made this trip possible without you. Thank you for investing in the lives of these young people and helping create memories that will last a lifetime.

The lesson for the Young Lions Sunday 6-14-2026,
Titled: Love God, Love People
Matthew 22:37-40.

When Jesus was asked what commandment was the most important, He gave a simple but powerful answer: Love God with everything you have, and love others as you love yourself. Jesus taught that every other commandment is built on these two foundations. As followers of Christ, our relationship with God should affect how we treat people every day. When we truly love God, we will show kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and respect to those around us.
A real relationship with God is seen in how we love Him and how we love others.

This week, spend time showing your love for God through prayer and worship, and intentionally show Christ's love to someone who may need encouragement, kindness, or forgiveness.

If we get these two commands right—loving God and loving people—we are living the heart of what Jesus taught.

We are proud of some of the Young Lions Youth Ministry students for stepping up and serving our community at the Family Worship Center 4th Annual Car Show, Fish Fry, and Spring Craft Show! From helping guests, serving food, and working hard behind the scenes, these young people showed great attitudes and servant hearts. The future is bright when the next generation is willing to serve!
