This clip is from a couple of years ago when my daughter was struggling and had run away from home.

Every part of me wanted to give in to fear, but I refused. I was reminded that fear wasn’t from God.

Instead, this Jesus-loving mama went to war in prayer!

The battle wasn’t against my daughter—it was in the spiritual realm. God’s Word reminds us, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers…” (Ephesians 6:12). So I chose to put on the armor of God and pray instead of panic.

Mamas, I mean I prayed!! I prayed loud, through tears , and paced back and forth declaring scripture and rebuking Satan.

I also held tightly to Daniel 10, where Scripture shows that from the very first day Daniel prayed, God heard him, and heaven was already moving on his behalf (Daniel 10:12–13). Even when we can’t see what God is doing, He is always at work.

If you’re praying for a prodigal son or daughter, don’t lose heart. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears. The Lord hears, He is faithful, and He is working—even when the answer isn’t yet visible.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

The One who called you is the One developing you! 🙌

I will admit that I often feel like what God is asking me to do is just too big. At times, I seem more like a Jonah than a Paul. 🐳

I know that even when I run the wrong way He is faithful to pursue me and guide my steps. 👣

Psalms 37:23-24
“ The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him ; though he may stumble he will not fall for the Lord, uphold him with his hand.”

Part 2

God is the one with the authority over access, timing, and direction. That does not look like me kicking down doors, though I want to.

What is does look like for me is praying, waiting, and listening. It also means that He has the plan and he has given me a treasure of helping carry the gospel and I am called to be a good steward of all opportunist He provides.

Isaiah 22:22
“I will place on His shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

Part 1

I recently had the incredible opportunity to meet one of my favorite speakers, Lisa Harper.

I asked her one question that’s been on my heart:

“How do I step into women’s ministry speaking, stay humble, and still navigate the tension of self-promotion through social media?”

She shared so much wisdom, but one thing continues to echo in my spirit….”You cannot do it all.”

She reminded me that the Lord will bring the right women alongside you-people you didn’t even have to ask-and open doors to opportunities you didn’t even see.

Boy, am I already seeing it!! God has already put things into place.

Still reflecting on such a beautiful time with the women’s ministry at Grace Community Assembly—what a gift it is to gather with incredible sisters in Christ. There’s something so powerful about being surrounded by women who love the Lord and encourage one another so deeply.

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be used by God in any way He chooses. May I never lose my awe of His goodness, His faithfulness, and His love. 💗
