The enemy does not always attack with criticism.

Sometimes he attacks with applause.

Not every open door is from God.
Not every compliment should be followed.
Not every opportunity should be accepted.

Stay grounded in God's voice, even when the crowd is cheering.

But instead of fighting in the flesh, Paul recognized that something deeper was happening spiritually.

Gideon started off bitter, frustrated, fearful, and hiding from the enemy. But by the end of the story, he was leading with confidence, walking in authority, and acting like the man God created him to be.

What changed?

Obedience.

Israel’s disobedience led them into bo***ge and oppression. But their obedience led them into victory and freedom.

This message is a reminder that obedience is not about restriction. It is about transformation. God can take someone hiding in fear and turn them into a leader walking in victory.

And even if you feel like you have wasted years through mistakes or sin, God’s mercy is still available. He restores. He redeems. He still calls people forward.

Sometimes breakthrough starts with repentance and one simple step of obedience.

Lots happening at Shepherd’s Heart this week… and we’d love for you to be part of it.

First up — our Youth Summer BBQ Bash is happening Wednesday, June 3 from 6–8PM at Table Rock State Park! We’re kicking off summer with food, fellowship, games, and a fun night together. Students, bring your friends and come hang out with us as we start summer the right way.

Then Friday night, the men are firing up the grills for the Men’s BBQ Cook Off! Come enjoy great food, testimonies, fellowship around the fire, and some friendly competition. It’s gonna be a great night together.

And men — don’t forget Men’s Bible Study this Saturday morning. Breakfast, coffee, fellowship, and time in God’s Word together. A great way to start your weekend and grow alongside other men of faith.

Victory can win the battle.

Character sustains the victory.

It's easy to trust God when you're fighting for breakthrough. The real challenge is staying faithful after the victory comes.

Stay humble. Stay grateful. Stay close to God.

Sometimes God allows situations to become impossible because miracles live on the other side of impossible.

God is not trying to show off because of ego. He moves in powerful ways so people will recognize who He is and run toward Him.

The impossible is not proof that God has abandoned you. It may actually be the setup for Him to reveal Himself.
