Branson West Ward Elder's Quorum

Due to the possibility of bad weather tomorrow Feb 10th our church meeting for the Branson West Ward will be from 2pm till 4pm instead of the regular time.

Brethren, This coming Saturday, March 31st, is the General Priesthood session. Bishop has asked that we attend this meeting at our church building in Branson West as a ward of priesthood brethren. Although the spirit can be felt wherever you attend this meeting, the spirit of unity and togetherness can only come by meeting in a body of one.

Also, there will be ice cream served right after the meeting. The session begins at 7pm. Hope to see everyone there. Please invite the men whom you home teach as well as their sons who are 12 and older.

Good Saturday afternoon brethren. I received a call this week from a sister in our ward stating that she received a blessing from me about a month ago and that I had told her she could call me anytime she needed help. Since my family has moved into the ward, I have not had the opportunity to give anyone a blessing. I told her that I would ask around to find who the brother was. Her name is Lisa Norman. She is looking for someone to build her a flower box. If I knew how to do so, I would be glad to help out. Is there anyone who has the knowledge and skills to build a flower box? She said she is willing to pay for the material. Please send me a message if you are able to help out.

Brethren, this Sunday's lesson we will be discussing the Sabbath Day. Below you will find a scripture that I have pulled out from the lesson. Please take time to read through this scripture, ponder its meaning and pray to know what you can do different on the Sabbath Day that would help you draw closer to your Savior and to your fellow brother and sisters. Had a great experience serving yesterday. My wife and I attended the food order distribution at the stake center. It was awesome to see how everything is organized. I believe the best thing about it was that we were able to fill an order for a family in Branson and then take it to their home. Truly, serving does increase our love for our fellow man.
