Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

On June 11, 2026, the U.S. Bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, marking the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.

One of the opportunities to join in the Consecration is to Pray the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus from June 3-11.

At St. John Bosco Parish, we will pray the Novena together at the conclusion of daily Mass, starting on Wednesday, June 3rd.

To download the Novena you can go here:https://www.usccb.org/sites/default/files/2026-02/Novena%20to%20the%20Sacred%20Heart%20Full.pdf

The Novena will also be posted each day here on Facebook.

In addition, we will have three special opportunities for prayer leading up to the consecration. Each event will take place at St. Mary’s Church.
• Wednesday, June 3rd, 8:00AM: begin the Novena with a Holy Hour with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the conclusion of daily Mass.
• First Friday, June 5th:
○ 8:00AM: day 3 of the Novena leading into a Holy Hour with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the conclusion of daily Mass.
○ 6:00PM: First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with Novena, Exposition, Adoration, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
• Thursday, June 11th, Noon: Conclusion of the Novena and Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
In addition to our regularly scheduled daily Mass, we will have an additional Mass on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus at Noon on Friday, June 12th at St. Mary’s.

Nurturing Seedlings is designed to provide parents the support, encouragement, and skills needed to nurture the spiritual life of their young children. The ministry also aims to build community among parents who are in the midst of raising babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

To get this program started we are looking for Facilitators and Volunteers to help mentor and lead! We are also looking for help with Childcare during the meetings.

Training sessions will be help on Monday, June 1st from 5:30pm-8:30pm and Thursday, June 4th from 9:00am-12:00pm. (You only need to attend one session)

To register, you can head to: https://form.typeform.com/to/PceL4Dy0
