Acts 9:6
When Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, he asked the same question that every new believer asks: “Lord, what do you want me to do?”
Paul was astonished to discover that Jesus was real, and ready to hear whatever His Savior had to say. At that moment, Jesus could have revealed His plan for Paul through the medium of His disembodied voice. Instead, He told him to go to Damascus and wait for further instructions. Those instructions came in the person of Ananias, a fellow believer.
Ephesians 4:11-12 “And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying (building up) of the body of Christ.”
Every Christian needs a pastor. Not a person to control their life and tell them what to do, but a mentor who walks beside them and offers Biblical advice and instruction.
Every Christian needs a church to call home. Not a social club or an exclusive religious group, but a community of believers who strengthen, encourage, and support one another.
If you are looking for a loving congregation and a pastor who teaches the truth of God's Word, we hope you will join us for services this Sunday!
