Evangelist Robert Green (Pastor, North Idaho, Church of God) used the word of God tonight to show how to be on the winning side of life and NOT on the LOSING side.

Sin makes LOSERS out of those who give in to temptation.
Before becoming a Christian, we were all LOSERS.
God's word teaches us how to overcome sin once and for all!

Impossible? NO! Possible? YES.

Next service: Friday February 13th. 10:30am.
Please join us under the BIG Tent.

The greatest catastrophe and cause of the largest loss of life on this earth – the great flood.
1,656 years after the creation of the world, man’s sins were so terribly horrendous that God destroyed every living being on dry land except for 8 human beings and an ark full of land-dwelling animals. 🐅 🐄 🦍 🐘

The good man Noah was selected by God to build an ark. This vessel was to be the salvation of his family and of some land-based animals. Noah and his sons spent decades building the huge vessel and at the same time, he preached to all those who would give ear to God’s warning to repent. 👂 👁️

Though given the chance to be saved, no one alive cared enough to pay Noah any mind. By the time they were ready to pay attention, the rain started coming down and the fountains of the deep started bursting open. Water was coming from above and below. The great flood wiped out every living soul outside of the ark and the animals too. 🌩️

Facts
☑️Noah was in his 500’s when he started building the ark.
☑️Those inside of the ark stayed there for nearly 1 year and 10 days.
☑️The flood waters surpassed the highest mountain peak by about 23 feet.
☑️The flooding continued for 150 days.
☑️After another 221 days, it was safe to leave the ark and step on dry land.
☑️Just like the flood was a global event, the final destruction of the earth will be at a global level.

The story of Noah and the flood is not a kids Bible fairy tale. There are no fairy tales in the Bible and God's promise to one day destroy the world by fire will be as sure an event as was the Flood.

There is absolutely no reason to fear the end of our world. Be like Noah and his family – find a place of safety. In Brandon, Florida, that’s at the Church of God at 1203 Lithia Pinecrest Rd.

Acts 9:6
When Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, he asked the same question that every new believer asks: “Lord, what do you want me to do?”
Paul was astonished to discover that Jesus was real, and ready to hear whatever His Savior had to say. At that moment, Jesus could have revealed His plan for Paul through the medium of His disembodied voice. Instead, He told him to go to Damascus and wait for further instructions. Those instructions came in the person of Ananias, a fellow believer.

Ephesians 4:11-12 “And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying (building up) of the body of Christ.”

Every Christian needs a pastor. Not a person to control their life and tell them what to do, but a mentor who walks beside them and offers Biblical advice and instruction.

Every Christian needs a church to call home. Not a social club or an exclusive religious group, but a community of believers who strengthen, encourage, and support one another.

If you are looking for a loving congregation and a pastor who teaches the truth of God's Word, we hope you will join us for services this Sunday!
