Many of you know, Alice Garrick our sister from Pakistan, who has a wonderful ministry to women, children and youth there. I, Cathy Virgilio Capo Stone, I’m asking that you pray for our sister Alice today as she is in the US attending the United Nations event in New York. She is alone and trying to sell items made by her women in the market to bring funds home for her ministry. Some of you who have attended her sales in Tampa when she has visited know how physical it is to cart all of those wares to the market and set them up so that people want to look at them and purchase them. She has no help there in New York, and was very overwhelmed when I got a message from her yesterday. Please lift her in prayer now that she would have physical strength, a sharp mind and kindness on her tongue as she shares about her ministry and hopefully sells many items today and throughout this week. She will not be visiting Tampa this time, but I will be going to see her in Naples the Monday after Easter. If you would like to send a gift to her, please let me know, and I will be happy to bring it to her. Meanwhile, she is working on arrangements to get a bank account here in the US while she’s here so that we can begin purchasing items from her again to benefit her ministry throughout the year. I will keep you posted. Below is an interview she shared with me that was published internationally for women’s day. It features Alice’s ministry and her daughter Sarah. I hope you will enjoy it.
