It is the season of Lent and that means Wednesday meals and worship.

This year the youth are sharing a funny drama about their “GodPhones”. Come watch our youth as one can’t understand why her GodPhone won’t work and her friends “help” her all while keeping their faces buried in their phones. It is funny, semi-realistic and of course we will learn about God.

This is the schedule:
Wednesday, February 21, meal at 5:30p, worship at 6:30p
Wednesday, February 28, meal at 5:30p, worship at 6:30p
Wednesday, March 6, meal at 5:30p, worship at 6:30p
Wednesday, March 13, meal at 5:30p, worship at 6:30p
Wednesday, March 20, meal at 5:30p, worship at 6:30p

This year we will again have the Meal of Remembrance on Maundy Thursday. It is a worship combined with a meal and communion. That will be:

Thursday, March 28 beginning at 6:00p

And Good Friday service this year will be at our church and we will worship with Spirit of Truth. That will be:

Friday, March 29 beginning at 7:00p

Due to weather conditions, the Council has decided for the safety of all that all HLC activities for Sunday have been cancelled. That means no Sunday School, no Adult Bible Study and no Worship Services on Sunday. Please stay safe and stay warm. May God protect you and especially all those who have to go out in this.

Merry Christmas! Tomorrow is the Fourth Sunday of Advent AND Christmas Eve, so the schedule is a little confusing.

We are having Adult Bible Study at 9:15am followed by our Fourth Sunday in Advent service at 10:15am, This service will have communion and the lighting of the final candle of the Advent Wreath.

Then at 4:00pm we will have our Christmas Eve Candlelight service. This is our traditional Christmas readings and carols. It will NOT have communion but we will light individual candles at the end of the service as we sing Silent Night.

This Sunday our Sunday School kids will share their Christmas program with us at our Third Sunday in Advent service at 10:15am and next Sunday is Christmas Eve. We hope you will join us next Sunday for our Fourth Sunday in Advent service at 10:15am and Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 4:00pm. Merry Christmas!

Big day at church today…thanks to Lisa Lunning and the Sunday School kids for sharing their musical talents! Also gave out Bibles to several kids. And congrats to Pastor Naomi on earning her Master of Divinity!
