As I say goodbye to another dear friend today, Dorothy Stonecipher, it makes me think of my other departed, longtime, good friend, Eva Bundren. This was one of my favorite songs to sing with her. I thank God for the resurrection! This is not our final goodbye. I miss you both.

Build an Ark! Try to reach your sons and your daughters, other loved ones, friends, etc, before God closes the door. This world is a mess and as the scripture says, it will only get worse. But, God can make all the difference for our survival! On a less serious note, I like our version of this song and this video by the Praise Team. It made me smile today. I actually don't remember being a part of the construction of this video, though I played part of the music for the soundtrack some time or another. I think I might have been out of town when the group put it together. It seems not quite in perfect time, but I hope you'll overlook that and think of the words instead. Anyhow, if you don't already know, the Bennett's and the Bundren's were such a blessing to us. Debbie Cochran, had not started working with us yet, but she has been there for us as well. Good friends indeed! My husband, Lamon Jr., I think, was a natural on camera. (He was the carpenter in this video, and an actual carpenter by trade). I sure miss him but I know he's in a good place WAITING for me, as usual. LOL!

I came across this video tonight. This song came out some years ago by "Mercy Me." I may be partial, but I prefer the way Earlene and Mike Bennett did this version; along with Eva Bundren's vocals. 😀
