Lord God, Creator and Sustainer of all things-We come to you this Labor Day with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you for the gift of work. Thank you for placing abilities in our hands and minds, allowing us to provide for our families, serve our neighbors, and care for our communities.
Lord, we lift up all workers today. Be with those who are weary, heavy-burdened, or facing difficult conditions on the job. Provide for the unemployed and the underemployed, and grant fair wages, safety, and dignity to every person who labors.
As we pause this day-“0teach us the sacred art of Sabbath rest. Remind us that our ultimate worth comes from who we are in You, not just what we produce. Refresh our bodies, renew our minds, and guide our steps into the days ahead.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
