Happy 8th night of Chanukah!
Today, this week's local paper was delivered and some of our congregants from Temple B'Nai Shalom were on the front page, as well as pg's 2 & 15. Barry Rabinovitz, Angela Ponte, Meryl Smith, Helen Warshauer and Stewart Joran were among the 150 attendees of the 1st night of Chanukah celebration at Quincy! A great time & an optimistic holiday message was delivered by Rabbi Benjamin.

The largest crowd we've ever seen at the Quincy Center 1st night of Chanukah candle lighting! Lots of great people seen there including Quincy's Mayor Koch, Rabbi Benjamin, several Rotarians including the current District Governor-Angela Ponte, Temple B'Nai Shalom congregants (Helen, Meryl, Barry, Angela, Stewart, etc.) & close to 100 others!
The rabbi led us in songs and some interesting news.

Happy Chanukah everybody! That's right! Time flies when you're having fun...and isn't that what Chanukah is all about?
So let's have some fun at the Menorah lighting on the eve of the first night of Chanukah!
There'll be a public Menorah lighting this Thursday evening outside in front of the Quincy City Hall area--now called Hancock Adams Common at 4:45 (so get there about 4:30).
Rabbi Benjamin of Milton will be there to light it and say the prayers and sing some songs.
Quincy's mayor is usually there to publicly show his support of our multi-cultural city, and will hopefully attend this week on Thursday, Dec. 7th!
We hope to show our support with attendees from Temple Shalom and maybe join in on some holiday songs! See you there!
