I know that it's been way, waaaay too long since I've posted anything on this page, but it's time for me to get back to doing something that I really, really love doing.

With the idea of love in mind, I want to emphasize a central tenet of my own philosophy; Love is love. We've gone back to a time in our society where the option for competent LGBTQ adults to legally commit to a loving relationship is being challenged.

I don't know, and at this point I don't know if anyone can predict if those challenges will be successful, or what things will look like if they are. A year ago, I would have said there's no chance of something like that happening. Now? I have no idea. Uncertainty is a fact of life, but chaos doesn't have to be.

So, if you, or someone you know, is in need of a wedding officiant for a LGBTQ couple in southern Michigan, please reach out. I can work on short notice if necessary. I'm more than happy to offer my services.
