Once upon a Time in 2024, the kids and adults at Brawleys Fork decided to sponsor a missionary in Africa, who runs a soccer camp to spread Jesus to kids who live there. The donation was not huge, but it apparently made a huge impact. Fast forward to today. that very missionary who was originally from Brazil, but has spent almost his entire adult life as a missionary in Africa came to visit our sweet little church on the hill in Bradyville TN! And what a day we had! He shared his testimony (in Portuguese). Who would’ve thought one of my former second graders and a kid who had gone on mission trips with Dave and I, would know how to interpret his story for us. Bro. Erasmo blessed our hearts, talking about how he relied on his faith in God to provide his needs, but was almost out of funds when our check arrived. What started as a VBS project, turned into meeting new brothers and sisters in Christ! We were also blessed with a visit from the guys at Renewed Life ministries who gave Erasmo a shirt to take back with him. Little is much when God is in it!  A special thank you to my precious friend Suzette Sanderfer for introducing this amazing man and his family to us.

Happy 5th Birthday Brawley’s Fork! On Easter 2021, we opened to the public for the first time. God has been good and we celebrated our risen savior again this weekend with an egg hunt, a puppet show, communion, resurrection plantings, and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making all this happen. If you are looking for a church home, we’d love to have you.
