Yesterday was Children's Church Promotion Sunday. The kids helped lead the singing, took the offering, and had a special. Then we recognized those being promoted and gave them a gift. We are SO proud of our kids!!!

What is one to do when one feels like "ROAD KILL" on the side of the "HIGHWAY of HOLINESS"? What is one to do when one cannot make ANY EARTHLY SENSE of what one's HEAVENLY FATHER DOES or ALLOWS?

Make certain that the volume is turned up.

With so much GRIEF having impacted our congregation as of late, when Kay and I watched this interview on DAYSTAR, I decided that as soon as DAYSTAR posted the hour-long video on their website, that I would try to edit the original video into less than 25 minutes. IF you are dealing with grief from the loss of a loved one, I believe that if you prayerfully watch this video, you will feel the COMFORT of the HOLY SPIRIT even when the "ANSWERS" to all of the questions can't be found.

We are SO GRATEFUL for Pastor Ed and Leona who have so gracefully walked through with each and every trial that has directly or indirectly impacted our congregation.

In putting final touches on this evening's Bible study, I edited the following video that didn't have subtitles available. Since tonight's study is on PSALM 23, I felt that it be important to understand all of the lyrics of this inspired rendition.

Tonight, we will be looking into the original HEBREW to gain MORE insights into this TIMELESS PSALM. We would love for you to join us and enjoy the VERY COOL SANCTUARY with us! ;-)

BTW, make sure that the volume is turned on.

The meal for the Blair Family, will be at the White River Youth Camp cafeteria after the graveside service. Kayla C will be at the camp in the morning at 8:30 to receive food. Thank you to everyone who reached out and offered to help with the meal. I think we are all set.

PLEASE pray for the family and friends of Caleb. They need strength to get through tomorrow.

Honoring the dads present today. Happy Father’s Day!

Gracie's letter to Caleb posted on her Facebook on 6/16.

Oh Caleb, where do I even begin.
People would ask where we met and I loved seeing their faces when I said we went to preschool together. I still remember the ornery kid who was always running and always playing. Then we got to elementary school and we would have specials together, always the kid who was smiling and laughing and getting on to by the teacher. Next thing I know we’re in 5th and 6th grade practices and I’m trying to prove I’m better than you at basketball. (I’ve always been a bit competitive.) Then we’re in high school and we see each other every day and don’t really talk, but we’re always there.
7 years ago we got together and have been inseparable ever since. You always put my feelings first and gave me whatever I wanted. You showed me your love for the outdoors and took me to National Parks across the country. Whether we were in the mountains of Alaska, the beaches in Florida, or the badlands of South Dakota, you always pointed out the wildlife and helped me through the hikes that I definitely wasn’t prepared for.
Even at home, you loved sharing the outdoors with anyone who wanted to go. No matter the season you were outside. Grabbing suckers in the March, hunting turkeys in April, bass fishing in the summer, bow season in September, black bear season in October, r***e season in November, and gigging in the winter. You always asked me to go with you and I loved to sit with you, even if I was a little loud at some times. When you got to take KK deer hunting, you were so excited that she got her first deer. When you got to take Miles gigging, he always kept you on your toes. When you took Noah white bass fishing, the excitement from both of you was unmatched.
Most of all, I loved being your wife. You were the light of my life. Every day you’d call me after work asking how it went and more importantly asking what we were going to do for supper. Every day you told me you loved me. Every night when we went to sleep you would roll over, but always stuck your foot out so our ankles could touch. Every week we’d go to church and you’d hold my hand during closing prayer. You’d sing the hymns but never too loud. You supported me when I said I wanted to be a Sunday school teacher. You supported me during school and passing my exams and when I started my career. You were always putting me first.
I thanked God every day that I got to be your wife and I’ll continue to thank him. Until we meet again darling. I’ll love you always.
- Your Wife, Gracie
