What a Great time we had today for our Women's Day Service. Dr. Rita Morris brought a very thought provoking message that thrilled our hearts. Part II resumes tomorrow from 2-4pm.

Today was a huge success!! God certainly bless us as a church to help out our community! The Lord allowed us to have a Back to School giveaway/picnic!! We were blessed to give away book bags with school supplies, gift baskets,shoes, school uniforms, etc.!! We also would like to thank Essential Smoothies, Marcus Covington with his food truck, Duane Dean Mental Health Behavioral Services, Alderman Mike Prude for passing out non perishable items, Jon Burt helping with the walking tacos, and Brenda K. Erving for helping with voter registration! It was truly a great day and the Lord blessed us by holding back the rain, which we are thankful for!! Thanks again to the church family and other people from the community who helped make this a successful event!!

The New Jerusalem Church will be hosting a Back to School Community Giveaway Sunday August 16th from 12 to 3pm at Pioneer Park. We have School Uniforms, Book Bags, Shoes, Clothes. We also have Essential Smoothies, Mac's Bar-B-Que, and John B's Walking Taco's! We will also be raffling off Gift Cards, Baskets and other Prizes. Everything is FREE! COME ON OUT!
