Tomorrow we will dedicate a portion of our worship service to honor Maria.
Come ready to share a memory/ encounter you had with Maria.
My own thought when Maria graduated to her true future eternity with Jesus was;
We have lost a fallen soldier in this war to bring the Gospel to a lost and hurting world. We can celebrate in times like this because we know the truth, because Maria lived a life trusting in Jesus and the cross, because she loved well, because she served well, because she honored Jesus with her entire life, she is alive in Christ dancing on streets of Gold. There is no more pain or sorrow there is only the true presence of Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit!!
But here on earth we have suffered a great loss!!
The loss is great but the legacy is even greater.
Who will pick up the mantel and carry forward with boldness the message of Jesus Christ to the next generation ?
Lets come together and celebrate her life , but also be challenged , motivated by her example, so we can hear Jesus sing over us the same song He is singing over Maria "His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
