We are Happy to invite you to our annual Marriage Night!
This special night is for couples of all ages whether you are recently engaged, newlyweds, or preparing to celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary.

Marriage/Date Night will take place Saturday, March 18th 2023 at St. Dominic Church and Parish Hall.

The evening will start with a renewal of marriage vows at the 4:30pm Mass at St. Dominic. The hall will be opened immediately after Mass for appetizers and socialization. Dinner will start at 6:00pm. Doug will do his presentation after dinner. We will finish the night with dessert and fellowship after the presentation.

Doug Hinderer, MA, LMFT, who spoke at the evening last year and everyone really enjoyed, has been kind enough to fit us into his schedule and return this year. He has a new presentation that he will do for the upcoming night, so it would be the same great speaker but with a new and fresh approach!

As you may have noticed the much needed brick work at St. John's has begun!! Through the generosity of so many, over $117,000 has been pledged to date with a capital campaign goal of $171,000. A number that would also enable us to paint the interior of the beautiful church in addition to the needed outside repairs. The coping stones and stone bands on the face of the building have been ground out and resealed at the joints to prevent any water from getting inside the bricks and causing more damage. An estimated 760 bricks will be replaced in total. Once we have collected the goal of $171,000 we will start a more detailed conversation about painting the interior of the church. The campaign is still active and ongoing and it is never too late to make a pledge to help meet this goal. Thank you for your ongoing generosity to your church, even during difficult economic times!
