We are all saddened by the loss of one of our cherished members, Ms. Betty Jo Frazier. Ms. Betty went to be with Jesus on Christmas Eve. She was 92 and would have been 93 on her birthday January 23, 2025. She was a long-time member of Idlewild Baptist Church and was the oldest member. Her grandmother, Ms. Icy Vick was a founding member of the church. Ms. Betty cleaned the church for many years and was presented a plaque March 13, 2005, by Dr. Kelvin Moore in Appreciation for her years of dedication. Her grandson, Matt, is pictured with her. Pictured on left below is her granddaughter, Christy, and a church member, Kay at the IBC 100-year Anniversary, Nov. 6, 2011.
Funeral arrangements for Ms. Betty are Saturday, December 28 at Hunt Funeral Home in Bradford. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Pounds-Idlewild Cemetary.
