On Saturday, we had a wonderful end-of-summer picnic at Mystic Water Resort. The weather couldn’t have been better, with plenty of sunshine and lots of time to relax, laugh, and enjoy being together.
We ate sloppy joes and different sides, plus desserts provided by everyone who attended. There was no shortage of good food!
The kids enjoyed the bounce house, playground, and also played a couple lively games of tug-of-war (with some dads helping pull).
Then came the highlight of the afternoon: Candy Bar BINGO! With nearly 100 candy bars up for grabs, there were lots of excited winners heading home with bags full of sweet treats. But the very best part was when one of the kids yelled, “BINGO!” and won the jackpot bag filled with candy bars — on his actual birthday! Talk about perfect timing and a birthday to remember!
Days like this remind us how special it is to have a church community that comes together to laugh and make memories. We are so thankful for those who helped make the afternoon so much fun and for everyone who joined in. It was truly a wonderful way to celebrate the end of summer.

New Study! “Praying for Your Adult Children”. A study for all parents of children out of high school.
There is a book and study guide that we will go through each week. The study will be 15 weeks total but we’ll break it up a bit. We will meet Sundays at 6 p.m. at the church beginning October 4th.
If you are interested please let Lisa Miller know so she can order enough books for everyone. Combined cost of books is around $20. You can contact Lisa with any questions or private message/email the church.

Last week, we had the privilege of sponsoring a Babysitter Safety Course led by Ronda Skoken! These tweens and teens learned so much and gained valuable, practical skills that will help them feel confident and prepared as they begin babysitting in the future.

A big thank-you to Ronda for putting together such a fun, informative, and hands-on program! We’re grateful for the time and care she puts into equipping kids with skills they can use for years to come. 💙

There will be a Babysitter Safety Course offered this Wednesday, August 12th from 9:00am-12:00pm. This is for 10-14 year olds and will be located here at our church, 75 Forman Street (Rear) in Bradford. Ronda Skoken will be leading the course. This class is free - all fees have been sponosred by our Missions Team.

RSVP is necessary. Please message us to reserve your spot.

The kids at VBS were challenged to bring in 600 items to donate to the Bradford Friendship Table. They only had 4 nights to to it, but they far exceeded the goal and brought in 843 items! Thank you to everyone who brought in donations last week! We are so excited for the opportunity to help with this community outreach.
