Global Serve International GSI - Partnering with churches to plant mature churches in unreached language groups Read more about our history: http://globalserveint.org/history-and-impact/

We are committed to the work of the Great Commission in the most challenging regions, no matter the cost, through cross-cultural church planting, making disciples, and the translation of God’s Word among people groups who currently have no access to the Gospel. We believe the church is God’s primary instrument of redemption in the world and has the leading role in His global story. We partner with

churches locally and globally, united with one passion—to extend God’s glory among the nations. Global Serve is working today with the same pioneering spirit that first started our ministry in the early 1990’s. “And thus I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, so that I would not build on another man’s foundation.” (Romans 15:20). We work in places where there are no churches, no Bibles, and no resources for people to hear about Jesus. God is opening doors that have been closed for centuries through our global workers using social business, medical and professional skills to gain long-term access to unreached people. For the first time, people are hearing and reading about Jesus in their own heart language. Churches among the unreached are being established because God has raised up men and women willing to learn the heart language, persevere in difficult contexts, translate the scriptures and carefully disciple new church es. The vision of Global Serve International is to establish indigenous churches and equip them so they may continue to fulfill the Great Commission, beyond their borders, in new unreached people groups.

“Who’s responsible for what?” It’s a simple question—but one that exposes real gaps in how we live out the Great Commission. The answer isn’t found in organizations or individuals alone. Scripture shows that the local church holds the central place in God’s redemptive plan.

Please pray for several people sharing the narrative story of scripture (Genesis to Revelation) in the first language they completed. It is a huge step for these families as they consider barriers to the gospel and teach through Biblical stories that speak to those barriers to show what Christ has done for them.

Let’s remember these workers in our thoughts and prayers. Additionally, please pray for the individuals who are hearing the message of the gospel for the first time. Let’s pray that they will understand the truths of God’s word, apply them to their lives, and realize that this message of truth is meant for them.

Language group research (LGA) is crucial in understanding the diverse linguistic landscape of a region, identifying which communities have access to the gospel and which do not.

By pinpointing language barriers, it ensures that the message of the gospel can reach all peoples, regardless of their linguistic barrier.
