We are Harvest Families! Harvest Families exists to help connect family units to God, each other, and other families. We do this through meaningful worship, intentional friendships, and purposeful connection. Harvest Families includes Harvest Kids and Harvest Youth. Harvest Kids serves families with children birth through 5th grade, guiding them lovingly through the first years of life. Harvest Yo

uth serves families with youth 6th grade through college, empowering and encouraging students to grow in their faith while also focusing on study and service. We're excited about combining these ministries and all it will bring to our congregation and community. 🍂 Happy September! We hope you'll join us tomorrow for our Harvest Families Programs:
Harvest Kids: Sunday School @ 10:30am - This week we're beginning a new series called "Jesus is Lord"! Tomorrow we are discussing humility and serving others through small group discussions, games, crafts, and more.
Harvest Youth: Not meeting this week due to Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend!

Join Harvest Youth (6th–12th grade) on September 27 for our District Youth Gathering at Trinity UMC in Bradenton!
We’ll meet at Harvest UMC at 4:15 PM and travel together to Trinity. Once we arrive, we’ll enjoy dinner and take part in all kinds of colorfully messy games and activities!
Youth are encouraged to wear clothes that can get messy and stained and bring a towel and water bottle for the evening.
Registration is required! This helps us coordinate transportation and order all the supplies we’ll need for Color Wars.

Happy Friday Harvest Families! We hope you've had a great week!

Kids Ministry This Sunday - Before our 10:30am service, families are invited to check in their pre-k through elementary students for Sunday School during worship. During Sunday School we will have play-time, do a lesson over "Love Your Enemies pt 2", and do activities/crafts that go along with our story. We can't wait to see our students!!

Youth Group – All youth (rising 6th–12th graders) are invited to join us for Youth Group, this Sunday, from 5:00-7:00pm. We will have Dinner, do a Bible Study over "Loving our Enemies pt 2", play games, spend time together. We hope to see you there!

Dear Harvest Families,
Over the past few months, we have been blessed to see an increase in the number of families calling Harvest home! As our community grows, we have decided to restructure Harvest Family Ministries so that we can best serve all of the children, youth, and families.
Hannah Stelter will continue to serve as the Director of Harvest Families, overseeing all aspects of family ministry. Hannah will focus on directly leading Harvest Kids, including Sunday School, Stay & Play, and any special events that connect families as a whole. Hannah will also be the liaison to Lakewood Ranch Christian School, deepening our relationship with our school partner.
Lexi Harper, who has been serving as the Assistant Director of Harvest Families, will transition to become the Harvest Youth Director. Lexi will directly lead the Harvest Youth through weekly meetings, special events, and more.
Hannah will continue to be involved as a supervisor for Harvest Youth, but she will not directly lead the group. This shift will be effective beginning September 1st.

Kids Ministry This Sunday - Before our 10:30am service, families are invited to check in their pre-k through elementary students for Sunday School during worship. During Sunday School we will have play-time, do a lesson over "Love Your Enemies pt 1", and do activities/crafts that go along with our story. We can't wait to see our students!!

Harvest Family Ministries Update - This Sunday service (11:45am) - We have an exciting and important announcement to share with all of our Harvest Families! We hope you’ll join us after worship on August 23rd for a brief family ministry gathering as we share what’s ahead for our children and youth ministries. We’re excited to share this next chapter with you and look forward to seeing you there!
