Marriage isn't about being perfect—it's about being surrendered. When we both kneel at the foot of the cross, mutual submission becomes beautiful. Husbands lead by loving sacrificially like Christ. Wives complete what's incomplete through joyful respect. But it all starts with Jesus first.

This week's challenge: Write down what you need to lay at the foot of the cross. Your pride? Your plans? Those recurring thoughts? Be specific. Share your list with your spouse or accountability partner. Then pray over it daily—together if you're married.

Ephesians 5:21 reminds us to "submit to one another out of reverence for Christ." Not because of who they are, but because of who HE is. That changes everything. When both partners chase Jesus first, they'll find each other at the cross.
