Third Sunday of Easter. The Road to Emmaus. Jesus meets some followers who are talking about the events of the last three days. Although they don't recognize Jesus, just talking to them helps them to see the promise of God's love more clearly. Sometimes walking and talking with others helps us get through the difficult times. Because Jesus is always in the midst of those talks.

Palm Sunday is always bittersweet. On one hand it's the recognition that Jesus is king. In Zachariah 9:9 It prophesizes that the Messiah will come riding on a donkey. This is not a usual thing for younger people to do in the procession up to the temple. This would have drawn attention, especially with jesus's followers accompanying him. In their rejoicing, they didn't realize this was the beginning of the end. IYKYK
