We spend a lot of time helping students with their academic work but hearing how the relationship work impacts a child and their family is one of the things that keeps us going.

We're grateful for every family that trusts us with their students and lets us be a small part of their story.

We are thrilled to welcome our students to Calvary Baptist for our first week of summer reading camp!

Summer reading camp is designed to keep students engaged in learning throughout summer break, helping to prevent the summer slide while making learning FUN! 📚

We’re excited for all that’s ahead and can’t wait to see what our students accomplish this summer.

This Memorial Day, we honor the selfless individuals who served our country with courage and dedication, and we remember those who gave their lives in service to others.

Our volunteers served a total of 4,293 hours across all sites this year and we had to show our appreciation!

Ending the year with a volunteer appreciation breakfast where our volunteers reflected on a year of great impact at our sites!

This mission wouldn't be possible without our volunteers who faithfully show up every week to serve our students.

And that concludes the 2025-2026 Avenue941 school year!
Last week, our sites ended for the school year with some fun end of the year parties.

We celebrated our students with awards, games and pizza parties to end the year.

We are truly grateful for what the Lord did this year- a year of impact. Thank you to our site team leaders, learning coaches, interns, and churches for a spectacular year!

But we aren’t done- our summer program is soon to start!

As we begin our last week of our spring semester and approach the end of the school year, we are so grateful to be ending it with testimonies like these — seeing students and families not only impacted through Avenue, but becoming connected to local church communities.

This year, we saw 10 Avenue families begin attending the churches connected to their sites!

We celebrate these connections and the ways God continues to work beyond our program hours — building community, strengthening families, and drawing people closer to Him.
