St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus invite the community for the presentation of the Silver Rose on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

The Silver Rose is a symbol of faith, unity, life, and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each year, the Silver Rose travels across councils throughout North America as a reminder of prayer, peace, and the protection of human life.

Our parish will serve as the exchange point as the Silver Rose continues its journey from Del Rio to Uvalde. Brothers of the Knights of Columbus from Del Rio and Uvalde will join us for this special occasion.

A brief presentation on the history and meaning of the Silver Rose will be shared, followed by the Holy Rosary.

Everyone is welcome to attend as we gather in prayer and remembrance this Memorial Day weekend. ✝️🌹

Divine Mercy Sunday Recap ✝️

The readings remind us that God’s mercy is powerful and present. The Apostles brought healing through faith, and Jesus Christ revealed Himself as Lord over life and death.

In the Gospel, Jesus brings peace to His disciples and meets Saint Thomas the Apostle in his doubt, leading him to believe.

Message: Even when we struggle, Jesus meets us with mercy and calls us to trust.

Jesus, I trust in You. 🙏

✨ Divine Mercy Sunday | April 12, 2026 ✨

On this sacred day, the Church celebrates the boundless mercy of God made known through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Divine Mercy Sunday, inspired by the message of Saint Faustina Kowalska and established by Pope John Paul II, reminds us that no sin is greater than God’s love and forgiveness.

Catholics around the world are invited to:
🙏 Attend Mass and receive Holy Communion
🕊️ Go to Confession
⏰ Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, especially at 3:00 PM, the Hour of Mercy

This is a powerful opportunity to renew your faith, receive grace, and extend mercy to others just as Christ has shown mercy to us.

“Jesus, I trust in You.”
