AFI Family:
I write on behalf of the AFI apostolic team at a time when our world is full of uncertainty. It is hard to believe that exactly five months ago, many of us were gathered here in Bozeman celebrating kingdom life in Jesus. We were blessed to have Tim Jack and Craig Hopkins with us. Little did we realize that we were being equipped to “run with the horses” in the season that is upon us.
While there is much uncertainty, denial, fear and apprehension, we are blessed and positioned to strengthen one another and bring “good news of great joy” to those around us. I encourage you to make use of every opportunity to not only pray but bear witness in word and deed to people you meet in the daily interactions of life. It is for such a time as this that we have been equipped.
There is much need in our land. Our churches, small in number and isolated by geography, cannot meet all of this need, physical and spiritual. But we can set our hearts and hands to do what the Lord has set before us. Our physical resources may be limited but we have abundance of the spiritual. Now is the opportune time to share. Since most of the churches in our network are small, there may be need for financial assistance. Please let us know if we can be of help. Like the church in Acts, we are ready help.
There has not been a time in recent memory when God’s people could not gather in church buildings for worship, word and fellowship. Be encouraged and of good cheer as you sit around your dining room table tomorrow. Speak His word, pray His promises, bless His creation.
May the peace of a God which passes all understanding keep your minds and hearts in the knowledge and love of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
