THE COST OF TRUE DEVOTION. 🤍

Anyone can sing.
Anyone can clap.
Anyone can worship with their lips.

But true devotion always costs something.

The woman with the alabaster box didn’t just bring a song. She brought her most valuable possession and poured it out at the feet of Jesus. She withheld nothing because she understood that He was worthy of everything.

Pastor Jane Robinson Searchwell reminded us that devotion isn’t measured by how loud we worship. It’s measured by what we’re willing to surrender.

The question is not whether you can worship. The question is:

What are you willing to pour out for the One who gave everything for you?

When Jesus becomes your greatest treasure, no sacrifice is too great.

When was the last time you had an oil check? 🛢️

It is not enough to simply have oil. You must make sure your oil is clean, filtered, and ready for use. Unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, and distractions can contaminate what God placed inside of you.

Before you pour into others, check your oil.

Reverend Stacy Ann Garvey delivered a powerful word during the Women’s Convention, reminding us to protect what God has deposited within us.

Is your oil still flowing, or does it need to be filtered?

Be careful not to judge what you don’t have the spiritual discernment to understand.

The woman with the alabaster box was criticized by people who only saw waste. Jesus saw worship.

Not every act of surrender will make sense to everyone. Some people are carrying a praise, a sacrifice, or an offering that can only be understood by the One it’s being poured out for.

Before you judge someone’s worship, tears, obedience, or sacrifice, remember: you may not know what’s in their alabaster box.
