Cemetery Superintendent:

Part-time to Full-time position

Position Overview:
Fairview Superintendent is a dedicated and compassionate individual who oversees daily operations, landscaping, maintenance, and administrative functions at our historic nonprofit cemetery. This role is vital in preserving the dignity, beauty, and service of our public burial grounds, ensuring the respectful treatment of families, visitors, and the community.

Key responsibilities:

Operations & Ground Management;
Supervise and participate in the maintenance and landscaping of cemetery grounds, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and grave preparation.
Oversee repair and upkeep of buildings, roads, fencing, signage, and irrigation systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cemetery policies.

Interment Services & Family Support;
Coordinate burials and cremation placements, including plot locations, scheduling, and grave opening/closing.
Provide compassionate, professional assistance to grieving families and funeral directors.
