Today, on Administrative Professionals Day, we take a moment to honor and celebrate Orien Clairmont for her incredible service to the Youth Department. You’re truly the backbone, the engine behind the movement, faithfully holding together the many pieces that make ministry effective and impactful.

Behind every event, event detail, and every coordinated effort, your hands and heart are present. Your selfless commitment doesn’t go unnoticed. You serve with excellence, humility, and consistency, and because of that, so many lives are touched.

The Allegheny East Conference continues to excel through our Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE)!

PBE is a ministry that encourages Pathfinders to study, memorize, and reflect on God’s Word, strengthening their faith and understanding of Scripture. Our young people have been putting in the time, rising to the challenge, and showing excellence and determination every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of their discipline, growth, and passion for God’s Word. Special thanks to Genny Small Moore and Stacey McKoy, our PBE Coordinator, for their leadership and dedication in supporting this ministry.

The Allegheny East Conference is thriving through our Adventurers Bible Challenge!

The Adventurer Bible Challenge (ABC) is a program designed especially for our younger children, where they study and memorize selected portions of Scripture, work together in teams, and grow in their relationship with God. It creates a strong spiritual foundation early in life and helps them develop confidence in God’s Word.

We are especially grateful for our Executive Coordinators, Frank Dickerson and Bonita Solomon, and their amazing team for their leadership in coordinating and executing this impactful program.

Our young people have been faithfully studying, growing, and shining—and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Important Youth Congress Update

Due to inclement weather and in the interest of the safety of our youth, families, and leaders, we have made the decision to postpone the Youth Congress & Leadership Convention.

We know how much anticipation surrounded this weekend, and this was not an easy decision. However, safety must always come first, and we believe this is the most responsible choice for everyone involved.

Please take a moment to read the official letter in this post for full details regarding the postponement and next steps.

Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and continued support. We truly appreciate the trust you place in us, and we are grateful for a community that prioritizes care, wisdom, and safety.
