Our Story
Thanks for checking out our page. Come join us on Sunday to see if Good Shepherd might be the place of worship for you and your family. We strive to be an inclusive church, welcoming Christians of diverse backgrounds as well as people coming to church for the first time. We do our best to reflect the love of Jesus Christ with all who come to worship. What happens on Sundays? 7:45 AM - Worship This worship is for those who prefer a more traditional, liturgical experience. Rooted in our German Reformed background, the worship order will be familiar to those who grew up protestant or catholic. 8:45 AM - Fellowship Time A time of fellowship and refreshments in Zwingli Hall. All are welcome to have a bite to eat and chat. 9:00 AM - Education Hour Our Christian Education program at Good Shepherd UCC has something to offer everyone! We use Sunday School curriculum in our classes for children up to Grade 6, that inspires learning of Biblical principles and stories. Our Confirmation Class and Senior High Class engage scripture and tradition in a variety of ways and seek to understand the church in our modern culture. We have four year round Adult classes as well as seasonal Adult Education classes. 10:20 AM - Worship One Sunday you will find us singing an old favorite hymn, on another we will be praising in a more recent style. One week you might see a drama or a young person leading worship. No matter what we sing or say, the whole service points to the scripture message God would have us hear for that week.
