We Welcome Deacon Candidate Patrick Neher!

We are pleased to welcome Deacon Candidate Patrick Neher to Saint Columbkill Parish. Pat will be with us for eight weeks this summer as part of his formation and training for the Permanent Diaconate.

During his time with us, Pat will have the opportunity to experience parish life, participate in our ministries, and continue his preparation for ordained service in the Church. We are grateful to be a part of his journey and look forward to getting to know him.

Please keep Pat in your prayers as he continues his formation. God willing, he will be ordained to the Diaconate in the spring of 2028.

Welcome, Pat! We are blessed to have you with us.

Last weekend, the youth group had a bake sale to raise money for homeless teens at Mary’s Shelter. Our goal was to raise $600…. To say we surpassed that amount is an understatement. Thanks to you, our very generous parishioners, we were able to raise $2,256!! THANK YOU!! Today, we were able to put together 20 drawstring bags with a card, towel, sunscreen and chapstick. We prayed over the bags and asked God’s blessings on each teen that will receive them. The rest of the money will also be donated to Mary’s Shelter for their YESS and Strong programs that help homeless teenagers. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! God is good… all the time!
