Happy Wednesday, church family!

No matter what this week has brought, remember that God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning. If you’re weary, take heart—God is your strength. If you’re anxious, rest in His peace. If you’re waiting, trust His timing.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Keep praying, keep serving, and keep trusting. God is working even when we cannot see it. May His presence fill your heart with hope and His grace carry you through the rest of the week.

Today we want to give a special shout-out to Anne Sollee! 💐

Anne is one of those special people who is always willing to lend a hand and share her many talents. Her creativity, crafty spirit, and servant’s heart bring beauty, joy, and encouragement to so many. Whether she’s helping behind the scenes, decorating, creating, or simply stepping in wherever needed, Anne does it all with love and a smile.

Thank you, Anne, for being such an inspiring volunteer and for using your gifts to bless our church family. Your willingness to serve and your creative touch make a difference in countless ways. We are thankful for you and appreciate all you do!

Today we celebrate the men who lead, love, provide, encourage, and point their families to Christ. Thank you for the sacrifices you make and the godly examples you set.

“God Has a Ministry and Mission for You”

“It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” Ephesians 2:10 (TLB)

God put you on earth to make a contribution—and he’s calling you to a service far beyond anything you could ever imagine.

You weren’t created just to consume resources—to eat, breathe, and take up space. You were created to add to the world around you, not just to take from it. God wants you to give something back—to help other people. God designed you to make a difference with your life.

Have you ever wondered why God didn’t just immediately take you to heaven the moment you accepted his grace? Why does he leave his children in a fallen world? He leaves you here to fulfill his purposes.

Once you are saved, God wants you to be part of making his goals a reality here on earth. That means God has a ministry for you in his church and a mission for you in the world!

Words of Healing and Hope

Church family, there are seasons when hearts are heavy, bodies are weary, and burdens seem overwhelming. Yet we serve a God who is our Healer, our Refuge, and our Strength. His love never fails, and His grace is sufficient for every need we face.

The Lord reminds us in Psalm 147:3, “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” No hurt is too deep, no sorrow too great, and no situation too difficult for our Savior. He walks beside us in our pain and carries us when we are too weak to stand.

As a church family, let us continue to pray for one another, encourage one another, and trust God together. Healing may come in many ways—through restored health, renewed peace, strengthened faith, or comfort in difficult days—but we can be confident that God is always at work.

May we hold tightly to His promises, knowing that His mercies are new every morning. Let us not lose heart, for the Great Physician is still working, and His love surrounds us each day.

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord. – Jeremiah 30:17

May God’s peace, strength, and healing rest upon each member of our church family.

May this be a reminder that even in difficult seasons, God is faithful and His healing touch is still at work among His people.

🌿✨ FBC Boyd Member Shout-Out! ✨🌿

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time, talents, creativity, and hard work to help transform our church for Vacation Bible School!

From painting and building decorations to hanging signs, moving supplies, arranging classrooms, and adding all the special touches that make VBS exciting for our children, your efforts have made a tremendous difference.

Because of your servant hearts, our church was ready to welcome families and share the love of Christ in a fun and memorable way. Your willingness to serve behind the scenes reflects the spirit of teamwork and dedication that makes First Baptist Church Boyd such a special church family.

At First Baptist Church Boyd, we are blessed by so many faithful servants who work behind the scenes, and today we want to recognize Rhonda Herriage for her dedication and service as our church treasurer.

Rhonda faithfully gives countless unpaid hours to ensure our church finances are handled with care, accuracy, and integrity. Her commitment often goes unseen, but her work is vital to the ministry and mission of our church. From managing records and reports to helping keep everything organized, she serves with a willing heart and a spirit of excellence.
