There are as many different parenting strategies as there are children. There is no "right" way to parent and there is no such thing as a perfect parent. I promise you, the fact that love them, hug and kiss them, worry about them, feed them, get frustrated with them, and are mindful enough to wonder if you are doing them long-term psychological damage, doesn't tell me you're the best parent, but it does tell me you are the best parent for them.
