🗣💋👑💋🗣 An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips." Proverbs 24:26

This scripture means giving a truthful, honest answer is a beautiful act of friendship that brings joy, similar to receiving a warm kiss on the lips.

NOTE...
...The Power of Truth: The verse literally translates to "the one who gives a right answer kisses the lips." In the ancient Near East, a kiss was a symbol of pure friendship, loyalty, and deep respect rather than romance.
...Refreshing Honesty: While people sometimes fear that the truth will hurt or anger others, an honest and straightforward reply shows genuine care for a person's well-being.
...Mutual Trust: Just as a kiss brings comfort and affection, hearing the clear truth from a trusted friend brings peace of mind and strengthens relationships.

⚒️LABOR DAY PRAYER 🛠

Father in Heaven, on this Labor Day, we thank You for the blessing of work.
...We ask for strength to complete each day.
...We ask for rest when we are weary.
...We ask Your guidance and hope for everyone seeking employment.
...We ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see, but who work tirelessly each day for the good of us all.
...May our labor bring dignity to ourselves and our neighbors, and help us build a world of fairness and peace.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.” Colossians 3%23-24

🌤SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER 🌤

Father in heaven, our hearts have been broken by the imperfections of human love, and we confess that we sometimes doubt Your love in those moments.

But You have proven over and over again that Your love is constant and never fails.

Thank You for the ways You have shown us Your faithfulness and care.

Help us to trust in Your unfailing love, even when our heart feels empty.

Fill us with Your love so completely that it overflows into the lives of everyone who crosses our path.

Remind us that Your love is the only love that can truly satisfy.

We love You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen. 👑✝️🕊

BEWARE OF THE WILES OF THE DEVIL!

The phrase "wiles of the devil" comes from Ephesians 6:11 ("Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil").

The original Greek word used for "wiles" is methodeia, from which we get the English word methods.

In biblical theology and pastoral teaching, the "wiles" refer to the deceptive, systematic, and calculated strategies designed to quietly erode a believer's faith, character, and peace. They are not usually overt, frontal attacks, but subtle, targeted traps.

The most commonly recognized "wiles" include:

1. Deception and Counterfeits

• Twisting Scripture: Misquoting or taking God's Word out of context to justify wrong behavior, just as happened in the Garden of Eden and during the temptation of Jesus.
• Masquerading as Good: Presenting harmful choices, toxic mindsets, or compromised morals as progressive, enlightened, or harmless ("an angel of light").

2. Intellectual and Emotional Whispers

• Doubt and Skepticism: Planting quiet questions to shake foundational faith, such as "Did God really say...?"
• Condemnation and Guilt: Reminding believers of their past sins to make them feel unworthy of God’s grace, paralyzing their spiritual life.
• Discouragement and Weariness: Exploiting physical exhaustion or emotional burnout to convince someone that giving up is their only option.

3. Sowing Division and Isolation

• Offense and Bitterness: Magnifying petty disagreements between family members, friends, or church members to destroy unity and community.
• Isolation: Convincing an individual that no one understands them, driving them away from accountability and spiritual support structures where they are most vulnerable.

4. Distraction and Complacency

• The Choke of Busy-ness: Overwhelming a person’s schedule with good but non-essential things to crowd out prayer, scripture study, and quiet reflection.
• Gradual Compromise: Shifting boundaries slowly over time rather than all at once, making a severe moral or spiritual slip seem insignificant until the damage is already done.

🦅🪙🌩🪙🦅 "Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.

Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle." Proverbs 23:4-5

This scripture warns against exhausting yourself to gain wealth because riches are temporary and can disappear quickly.

Lessons to Learn
...Do not overwork for riches: Verse 4 tells you not to wear yourself out trying to get rich or rely solely on your own cleverness to make a fortune.
...Wealth is temporary: Verse 5 likens money to an eagle that grows wings and flies into the sky, showing how quickly riches can disappear amid economic shifts, theft, or misfortune.
...Value balance over greed: The passage does not condemn hard work or being successful, but it criticizes making wealth the main goal of your life at the expense of your health, peace, and family.

(REMEMBER MATTHEW 6:19-21

Christ teaches us to focus on eternal matters rather than temporary ones.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

😡😤💣😠🤬 "Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared." Proverbs 22:24-25

Do not befriend or closely associate with hot-tempered or angry individuals, because bad attitudes are contagious and lead to self-destruction.

NOTE...
...Choose friends carefully: The people you spend time with shape your own character and behavior over time.
...Contagious anger: Uncontrolled anger is a destructive trait that easily rubs off on close companions.
...Avoiding traps: Staying close to volatile people leads to unnecessary conflict and personal harm ("a snare").

🤍⚖️✝️⚖️🖤 "A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart." Proverbs 21:2

NOTE...

People naturally justify their own actions and think they are right, but God looks past outward appearances to judge the true motives of the heart.
...Self-Deception: Humans are prone to excusing their own behavior, rationalizing mistakes, and convincing themselves their intentions are pure.
...Divine Discernment: God is not fooled by good impressions, excuses, or outward compliance.
...Motives Matter: The Lord "weighs" or "ponders" the inner thoughts, testing why a person does something, not just what they do.

An action that looks good on the outside can still be tainted by selfish pride or hidden agendas.

Grace upon you! ✝️
